LEVITTOWN, NY – (March 5th, 2021) – The Grindhouse Radio, Long Island's top pop culture podcast, is a proud recipient of one gold award at the annual AVA Digital Awards. The international competition which receives thousands of entries a year hand selected The Grindhouse Radio for delivering an outstanding presence online for content, audio, studio and radio production. In receiving such an award - let it be noted two special thanks for this honor. AVA Digital recognizes outstanding achievement by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design, and production of media that is part of the evolution of digital communication. Work ranges from audio and video productions - to websites and social media sites that present interactive components such as video, animation, blogs, and podcasts- to other forms of user-generated digital communication. AVA Digital Awards is sponsored and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.
The awards are divided into several categories, which are Digital Marketing, Web-Based Production, Digital Video Creation, Video Production, Audio Production/Radio, New Category, Pro Bono, and Achievement. Entries are evaluated on creative excellence by professional judges on an individual basis, where winners are classified into Platinum, Gold, and Honourable Mention categories based on the scores received.
