After blazing across the New York dining scene with his acclaimed interpretation of haute cuisine that is equal parts reverence and iconoclasm, Marc Murphy teamed up with his wife Pamela Schein Murphy to open their first restaurant, Landmarc, in April 2004. It was a neighborhood favorite restaurant for fourteen years and in late 2017 opened as an events only venue called Landmarc Tribeca Events. Landmarc at the Time Warner Center closed August 2019 after twelve years. In addition to being a restaurateur - he developed Benchmarc Events by Marc Murphy, where his signature style of accessible contemporary cuisine transcended the boundaries of what was offered in his restaurant locations.
Today, Murphy’s involvement in the industry moves beyond restaurants.
