Desi Sanchez is an NYC-born Artist, Media Personality & Tech Expert, with over a decade of broadcasting experience, and credits in music and the visual arts.

Desi began her broadcasting career as the five-year host of LatiNation, which was nationally syndicated on CBS, FOX & MyNetwork; and later became known as an MTV VJ when she was named the “Face of MTV2” in 2010, connecting viewers across the country with the hottest artists & celebs on location.

Desi is also known for her work as as a fill-in anchor on E! News Now; and as the host of both VEVO's original travel & music series, Sound + City, and Bleacher Report's sports & pop culture show, BR5. In addition, Desi's hosting talents have been featured on Syfy Channel’s In the Qube, Music Choice's Demanded, HealthiNation’s TryOut Workout, on TMZ.com, and on local outlets such as Profiles on NYC Life. She also hosts and presents at live national & community events as well, such as speaking at Homeland Security in NYC, hosting the National Puerto Rican Day Parade Pageant, and emceeing a Congressional Briefing at the White House.

More recently, Desi was thrilled to be embraced by the gaming world as the co-anchor of Major League Gaming's eSports Report, followed by a return to Viacom as the host of Night Out, a microseries which aired across Viacom platforms (MTV, VH1, Spike, Comedy Central + more).

In other media, Desi's utilizes her voiceover talents in recurring comedy skits on several local FM stations, has done imaging pieces for clients such as Sirius XM Radio, and she also voices the character of Serena in the Alan Wake American Nightmare video game on Xbox. A pianist since childhood and an electric guitarist for over a decade, Desi released a single in 2006, after which she was named one of the 15 Hottest Latinas in Music by MAXIM Español, opposite Christina Aguilera.

And to round out her artistic pursuits, Ms. Sanchez’s first love will always be the visual arts: educated in graphic design at School of Visual Arts in NYC, she took 6 months off of on-camera work in 2014 when she was hired as the lead digital illustrator for a children’s video game. In her free time, she works as a fine artist, preparing paintings for a solo show, and she also began teaching drawing for children’s charity Artistic Dreams in 2012.

Today, Desi heads up her own media production company, Powerful Creative, where she produces her own online programs, like Awaken Inspire Create (AIC-TV.com). She is especially fired up about her latest endeavor, GamesGeeksTech.com: a site, community & web series which embodies her love of technology & gaming. (A National Hispanic Scholar, Desi was a web developer right out of college, and she knows 5 programming languages!)
